Yes, I know it’s ugly
Published January 27th, 2006 in MiscellaneousMy previous ugly template was having an off day and inserting weird symbols everywhere I had punctuation, so I’ve switched to the default ugly template. I plan to find a new ugly template this weekend, and little by little make it less ugly. Please keep in mind that my IT department consists of me and a six-pack of Miller Lite.
The problem is the Miller. If you went with a couple of Grey Goose martinis, the website’s design would start to take on the spirit’s characteristics: crisp, vibrant with fresh finish, super premium. The aesthetic of the miller lite-influenced website, while a staple of any party and certainly the top-seller in America, is, uh, a little watery. i’m looking forward to your new design (I suggest garnishing with juicy tidbits).
To me, this pastel color scheme has more of a Zima feel.
Just curious… where do these blog templates come from? And how can I use RSS to get your most recent blog to come up on my google page?
Templates are available through Word Press, the software I use to make the site. There are links to various template resources.
As far as the RSS… beats the fuck out of me. I’ll add it to the list of things I need to figure out.
